Tesla shares have been one of the hottest stocks to own in recent years, as the electric car maker overshadowed traditional players.

However, with growing competition from other EV makers and also catching up with the traditional players, there’s a growing difference in how investors Tesla.

On one hand, the likes of Roth Capital Partners believes Tesla is worth just US$150.

Yet, Piper Sandler has a target price of US$1,200 on the stock, nearly double the US$677.92 closing price on July 1.

However, no one is as bullish on Tesla as Ark Investment Management, which sees Tesla disrupting not just the car making industry but adjacent ones too.

Led by its notable CEO and CIO Cathie Wood, Ark pegs Tesla’s target price at a whopping US$3,000 in 2025.
