Wealth management platform Kristal.AI has raised over US$10 million ($13.80 million) for its pre-series B funding round, bringing total funding thus far to more than US$27 million.
The latest round of funding came from existing investors, such as Chiratae Ventures, Sanadhya family and Desai Family Office, as well as new investors, such as Stride Ventures and other unnamed individuals.
Kristal.AI previously raised US$6.3 million last March.
The firm, as of August, has built up an AUM of more than US$1 billion, and its user base has grown by more than 50% y-o-y.
“We are excited to announce this fresh funding round, which is a display of investor confidence in our business”, said Asheesh Chanda, Founder and CEO, Kristal.AI.
The firm has also applied for a license to expand into the United Arab Emirates, which has an estimated US$35 billion in AUM.
