ComfortDelGro (CDG) and public transport operator RATP Dev’s joint-venture, KBH Metro Partner has been prequalified to bid for an operations and maintenance contract for the Copenhagen Metro, which runs 24/7 and serves Copenhagen, Frederiksberg and Tarnby in Denmark.

The bid to operate Copenhagen Metro marks the third time that RATP Dev and CDG will combine their global expertise and local knowledge to deliver complex rail projects.

Already, the two companies have a proven history of successful collaboration on major projects in Greater Paris, with its managing of the Greater Paris Metro’s automated Line 15 South as part of the ORA consortium with Alstom, and the operation and maintenance of Singapore’s new Jurong Region Line through the Singapore One Rail partnership.
