To celebrate the 60th birthday of the Ken doll March 21, Berluti has partnered with Mattel to release three one-of-a-kind Ken dolls, developed with Berluti’s Creative Director Kris Van Assche. Each doll is dressed in a Berluti x Brian Rochefort outfit of a brown leather jacket worn with a short-sleeved printed silk shirt, elasticated trousers and braided calf leather Camden shoes; a Prince of Wales double breasted suit with a Ken & Berluti logo tee and braided calf leather Stellar sneakers; or a printed shirt combined with black trousers, a belt and braided calf leather Stellar sneakers. Accessories include a miniature version of the Nino clutch and the Berluti beach buggy manufactured by Hot Wheels.

A look back

For hints of a sporty look along with a nod to its Japanese heritage, Onitsuka Tiger’s creative director, Andrea Pompilio, dug into the archives of the brand’s 1970s collection to find inspiration. The low-cut Acromount collection came up tops with its combination of fabric and leather — as well as the middle-cut Acromount MT model, with its beautiful contemporary form.

Get the all-clear

Lancôme Clarifique Dual Essence is a breakthrough product which promises users brighter, clearer skin with reduced appearance of pores. After four weeks, skin is hydrated, clearer and brighter and smoother. Active ingredient used is the French Beech Bud that helps to hydrate, gently exfoliate and brighten the skin. FYI: The beech tree is known to retain its vitality for up to 250 years and is therefore known as the “forever young” tree.

For your eyes only

Cartier S/S 2021 Eyewear Collection combines the very best of creativity and technical features. Each design is inspired by the jewellery pieces of Jeanne Toussaint, such as the Panthère de Cartier line with a feline silhouette sculpted along the temples. Toussaint was Cartier’s high jewellery director in the 1930s. Another collection to look out for is the round Pasha de Cartier frames with the Godron and C de Cartier motifs serving as decorative and functional elements of the hinges.

A Dynamite ensemble

On March 14, fans of South Korean boy band BTS were hoping the guys would win a Grammy for best pop duo/group performance, but they lost to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Never mind — at least we got to see them perform “Dynamite” and walk the virtual red carpet in the Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2021 collection.

Prints charming

H&M Kids Print capsule collection is a collaboration with illustrator and print designer Angela Mckay to launch a sustainable line. Each piece is made of organic cotton, recycled materials and eco-responsible viscose. Using vibrant colours, McKay draw or paint by hand florals, butterflies, jungle foliage, snarling tigers and sleepy sloths on jackets, dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, hoodies, tops, leggings, shorts and more.

Spring is here

Parisian fashion brand Paul & Joe is now accessible to everyone through a collaboration with Uniqlo. What’s on offer are pop culture and art graphics in pastel shades with floral prints to welcome spring. Motifs such as chrysanthemums and Lily of the Valley bloom over dresses, blouses, scarves, and pochettes and more.
