SINGAPORE (June 5): Gem of an idea
As we wait for the opening of retail stores in Singapore, you can still get your hand on exclusive products. For example, you can still shop via the Virtual Concierge service that is offered by jeweller B. P. de Silva. This is how it works: It starts with a brief jewellery education, which is helpful for those looking to commission a bespoke engagement ring, wedding bands or an anniversary keepsake. You will also get a guide of everything you ever wanted to know about diamonds and coloured gemstones — such as B. P. de Silva’s hallmark is the Ceylon Sapphires. After initial discussions, depending on the needs of the client, there will be an option to arrange for a follow-up virtual session, accompanied by a consultation round-up via email. The brand’s Bespoke Journey takes about eight to 10 weeks upon confirmation for the overall design to complete.
Love all
Gucci moves from fashion to games: The Italian fashion house has teamed up with the Tennis Clash mobile game so players can discover exclusive Gucci outfits and be able to participate in a special Gucci tournament. Tennis Clash fans will also be able to buy for themselves outfits that mirror those on screen for themselves from the Gucci website, which brings the virtual and real worlds together. Users will be able to play in a new in-game tournament branded as the Gucci Open. Tournaments are a limitedtime game mode where you compete against other players to score the most points in a series of matches. Tennis Clash is consistently featured in the Top Five Sports Games on the App Store. It was also recently selected as one of Google Play’s ‘Five Best Competitive Games of 2019’. Tennis Clash is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.

Beosound A1 2nd Gen is Bang & Olufsen’s updated portable Bluetooth speaker that is also waterproof for up to one metre. This means you can take it with you in the shower, use it for a poolside party and even while you do the dishes. With a battery life of up to 18 hours, you can rest assured your listening pleasure will not be interrupted. Should you need help finding Ariana Grande’s latest tracks or even updates on the weather, the speaker even has a built-in integrated Alexa voice assistant at your disposal. This means it can answer your questions, access your playlists and easily control your speaker around your home — hands free. The speaker also retains its unique disc shape and is now 7% lighter due to a fresh take on the design with a tapered base while the leather strap gives it a stylish finish.
Time to canvas
Burberry launches the Title Bag made of canvas stamped with the iconic logo. There are two designs to choose from: The Canvas Pocket bag features topstitched leather on a archive-inspired Pocket Bag — finished with sculpted handles and a detachable strap. Meanwhile, the Canvas TB Bag is reimagined by Riccardo Tisci in beige canvas and set with the initials of brand founder Thomas Burberry.

American professional basketball player and Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) all-star Jeremy Lin is the new face of Coach. The move is widely seen as the brand’s attempt to appease and re-capture the Chinese market. As ambassador, Lin will be seen on global advertising campaigns for leather goods, ready-to-wear and footwear beginning with the Fall 2020 season. In his debut advertising campaign, we will also see Lin in Coach’s reinterpretations of the iconic Horse and Carriage motif through The China Collective collection.
Zoom in
Social distancing is the new normal, so is using Zoom to conduct meetings. While you have your professional Zoom backgrounds for work, you probably need to loosen up when it comes to social virtual gatherings. Here some fun backgrounds you can use: The Zoom background collection curated with Australia’s New South Wales (NSW) tourism department showcases destinations and experiences such as stargazing in the Southern Hemisphere’s first Dark Sky Park in the Warrumbungles, sea life frolicking underwater along the NSW Coast from Tweed Heads to Narooma as well as aerial shots of regional highlights like Stockton Beach and Broken Hill.
