Dressing tables
Hermès launches Passiflora, a range of tableware designs that pays tribute to the vegetation that protects the earth — a cross between botanical tradition and art. Its name is reminiscent of the passion flower passiflora incarnata, a bright star that embodies the passion inherent in all creation. The designs reveal the delicate veins of the anthurium that are etched across a plate with sap that flows through a vibrant green stem. This is nature at its best and are found on side plates, presentation platters, coffee cups, dinner plates and more.
Stand out from the crowd
There is nothing like a personalised bag to help you stand out in a crowd. For the fall/winter 2020 season, French luxury leather goods brand Longchamp adds a personal touch to the Le Pliage bag with customisable totes that come in three sizes and twenty colours and made with 100% recycled polyester.
To make the bag yours, you are invited to select your choice of leather trim — available in five colours. You even get to choose the colour of the press stud on the flap. The colourblocked design of the tote is finished with initials, including two or three capital letters, printed onto the front of the bag using an eco-friendly water-free transfer printing process.

Smell the roses
Rose de Caroline was created by Alberto Morillas for his close friend Caroline Scheufele who is the artistic director and co-president of Chopard. The fragrance is built around the main ingredient — the very rare Bulgarian rose — that is turned to an essential oil that is said to be even more precious than gold. In keeping with Chopard’s mission statement of ethically sourced ingredients, these roses are sourced from a network of 70 suppliers, farmers and cooperatives in the Balkans in Southeast Europe. The choice of the rose is a nod to Scheufele’s love of filling her garden with old roses — she adores the sweetness of the rose, its delicate shape, its powdery feel and the elegant way it carries itself.
Pushing boundaries
Loewe’s fall and winter 2020/2021 collection for men features textures, shine, curves with wool, knit and satin as materials of choice. Creative director Jonathan Anderson works on notions of motion and tension, with a sense of optimism pushed to an obscure edge. Function is reduced, or twisted while definitions are blurred. A blazer is meant as outerwear, army shorts resemble a skirt, sleeves are elongated, a cape is morphed into a coat — that is the narrative by Loewe.
