SINGAPORE (Mar 13): Blurred lines
Fresh off his collaboration with Uniqlo, Northern Irish designer JW Anderson takes on a designing role with Moncler Genius where he blurs the line between the male and female collections with a cross-pollination of menswear and womenswear. The result is, well, genius.
Laidback style
Orlando Bloom has been appointed as Boss Eyewear ambassador for this year. Bloom, with his influential sense of style, creates a synergy between him and the Spring/Summer 2020 collection. He says, “Eyewear has always been an integral part of an outfit for me. Whether you’re going for a bold look or something more relaxed, your eyewear should reflect the way you are dressed, and the way you feel. The Boss brand understands the desire to look good without compromising on comfort or individual style, which is something that resonates with me.”

The fearless designers
Artistic director of Ermenegildo Zegna Alessandro Sartori and founder of Fear of God Jerry Lorenzo come together to create a new style that promises to rewrite the rules of tailoring as we know it. The collection has suits whose jackets lose their revers or the turned up look to reveal the lining of a garment; coats adopting a one size fits all concept and made from the finest natural fabrics while jeans get casual as are accessories. The colour palette — with its mélange grey, vicuna and taupe — is all about neutrals.
