Pinko raises awareness of the environment
Purchase a Pinko outfit and you can rest assured that you are helping the Italian fashion house in its social cause. In 2018, Pinko started a long-term partnership with Treedom, the only website in the world that allows you to plant a tree with a simple click, and then monitor online all stages of its growth. The First Phase of the Pinko Forest project, #StartWithATree, began in February last year. The aim is to raise awareness of the environment and the future of the earth. Pinko has designed an exclusive T-shirt (left) that bears a clear message about social responsibility.

ALL THAT GLITTERS
Christian Louboutin Beauty has launched Loubiglittergloss, a collection of glittery, ultra-glossy lip colour in six shades of red. Louboutin is a fan of glitter and has used it in many of his shoe designs. The ultra-light lip gloss is non-sticky and provides intense colour and long-lasting wear. It costs $134 and available at Tangs.
OCEAN PARTNERSHIP
To mark Breitling’s partnership with Ocean Conservancy, and their shared commitment to maintaining a healthy ocean and clean beaches, the Superocean Heritage Ocean Conservancy Limited Edition was launched in Bali. Powered by a Breitling Calibre 13 mechanical movement, the chronograph features an ultra-hard scratch and shock-resistant unidirectional rotating bezel with a luminescent central dot at 12 o’clock. Shades of blue recall the depths of the ocean; the minute and hour hands, coated with Super-LumiNova, emit a blue light instead of the standard green. The 44mm stainless steel chronometer comes with a pair of Nato straps made of ECONYL yarn — a material repurposed from nylon waste that can be recycled indefinitely. A portion of the sales of the watch will be donated to Ocean Conservancy and its global fight against ocean pollution.
ART AND WATCHMAKING
The latest watch in the Classic Fusion Orlinski series from Hublot is sculpted in the aesthetic signature of artist Richard Orlinski. Its 40mm case is available in titanium or King Gold and set with brilliant-cut diamonds. Symbolising the characteristic folds in the artist’s works, edges, bevels and facets have been miniaturised to create mirror effects on the dial. The strap in matt black rubber creates an arresting contrast, which is more pronounced on four of the six models. The other two models have no precious stones — to accentuate the pure lines and sharp angles.
