Impeccable tailoring and design come together for that unmistakeable Brunello Cucinelli look

SINGAPORE (Nov 23): It is always difficult to transition stylishly from tropical to winter wear. If you are travelling for work to a colder climate and are expected to dress up for a board meeting or formal dinner, you will need to plan a wardrobe that is not only comfortable but also exudes elegance.

Italian fashion house Brunello Cucinelli understands your sartorial dilemma and has created a men’s fall/winter 2019 collection that is all about quality and style (main image). Fabrics are soft and lightweight; there are shirts in stripes and denims in vivid shades. Outerwear is made of suede, nubuck and nappa leathers, while shearlings come in warm tones of cognac. Other shades include neutrals, beige, violet, raisin and blueberry.

Rainbow of colours

Spring/summer 2020 for Marni is a riot of colours. Everyday items such parkas, denim jackets, sweaters, dresses, skirts and shirts are covered in broad brushstroke prints in loud colours — a homage to ethnic designs.

For the bracelet, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s gem-setters have bezel-set 310 diamonds (22.27 carats), linking them together to form a river of diamonds that wraps around the wrist.

Online special

Cortina Watch and TAG Heuer have teamed up to present the Carrera H02T Cortina Special Edition, available exclusively from Cortina Watch’s online boutique. This timepiece is fitted with a COSC-certified chronometer movement.

Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres is an independent testing body that ensures the chronometer meets the highest accuracy standards when worn. The watch showcases a contemporary interpretation of two traditional complications, the tourbillon and the chronograph. The latter is what TAG Heuer is well known for. The tourbillon in the TAG Heuer

Carrera H02T is inspired by that used in the iconic Monaco V4. There are only 10 pieces of the watch, which retails at $26,000.

Sound control

Tired of your colleague’s out-of-tune singing in the office? Get yourself the H910N headphones by Sony that cancel out the ambient noise around you so you can listen to your music in peace. This is all thanks to the Dual Noise Sensor technology. Adaptive Sound Control improves your listening experience while the Quick Attention mode allows you to temporarily listen to announcements around you without removing your headphones — simply hold your hand over the earcup to reduce music volume.
