In the Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture Collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Peter Philips, the creative and image director for Dior Makeup, crafted a makeup style focused on enhancing the eyes. The makeup technique involved two steps: First, a bold smoky liner was applied along the lower lash line to create intensity. Then, a light shade was delicately swept across the eyelid to bring a soft luminosity to the eyes. The result was a captivating balance between intense and gentle, with eyes appearing both striking and subtle.
