Timberland’s new fall/winter collection for women has versatile pieces that enable you to stay active
SINGAPORE (Nov 18): Taiwanese actress Eugenie Liu (pictured in main image, centre) shows us how to look glamorous in Live The Moment, the campaign for Timberland’s fall/winter 2019 collection for women. The campaign features the Happy Together actress wearing the Travel Light capsule collection, which has pieces that you can mix and match. Check out the packable, water-repellent jacket utilising DryVent technology, Dri-Release moisture-wicking layering options and stretch fabrics that let you move with ease.

Tribute to Singapore
Casio commemorates the founding of Singapore 200 years ago with a limited-edition watch that captures the nation’s iconic landmarks. The black resin exterior of the AE-1200WH-1ASGGD (gold) features founder Sir Stamford Raffles, Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, the Flyer, Marina Bay Sands, the Esplanade, Art Science Museum and the Merlion. The AE-1200WH-1ASGWH (white) also has these famous sights, with the addition of the moon and five stars found on the Singapore flag.

Designed by Malcolm Lee, chef-owner of Candlenut at COMO Dempsey, and Edwin Low, co-founder of Supermama, the plates, or mamezara in Japanese, are used to hold sauces or side dishes. They were given a Japanese name because they are made in Ishikawa, Japan. The plates are available at Candlenut at COMO Dempsey and Supermama stores and cost $24 each.
Precious jewels
Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor wore earrings from Chopard’s Precious Lace collection at the Sharjah World Book Capital event. Held in the United Arab Emirates on Nov 2, the event promotes books and literacy in the community. Sonam’s earrings were made of 4.66 carats of diamonds set in 18-carat white gold. She comes from a showbiz family: Her grandfather is Mumbai film producer Surinder Kapoor and her father is actor and producer Anil Kapoor.
House of fragrance
Fashion designer Hedi Slimane has created 11 new fragrances for Celine, which he has named according to his olfactory journal. Some of the scents remind him of places, emotions and things and are described as a very personal journey. Check them out at the Celine Haute Parfumerie boutique at 390 Rue Saint-Honore in Paris.
