Game of Thrones won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series while Fleabag, a comedy-drama based on Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s one-woman show, won for Outstanding Comedy Series. As with any award show, fashion observers are always keen to know who wore what.

Mahershala Ali, nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie, wore a custom-made green jacquard, wool mohair, single-button suit, with iconic couture lapel and fashion show pockets, light green linen blend covered placket tuxedo shirt and black satin bow tie, all by Ermenegildo Zegna XXX. Nathalie Emmanuel wore a Miu Miu black satin gown embellished with crystals and stones, while Gwyneth Paltrow wore a Valentino Haute Couture dress from the Spring/Summer 1963 collection. Michelle Williams, who won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for Fosse/ Verdon, looked stunning in a custom embroidered gown and sandals, all by Louis Vuitton.
