It’s a Triomphe
The Triomphe bag, which was designed by Hedi Slimane in 2018, is a modernized version of a design from the Celine archives dating back to the 1970s. This updated version pays homage to Celine Vipiana, who originally conceptualized the bag after noticing the chain-link pattern of her own handbag circling the Arc de Triomphe. Over time, this iconic design has evolved to become a symbol of the bag's legacy.
Music-inspired fashion
MCM partners with Sony Music Entertainment’s FILTR music platform to create “A FILTR Take” to launch its Spring-Summer 2023 campaign. To interpret fashion MCM works with “You Broke Me First” singer and songwriter Tate McRae. The three-times singer created two full-length performances contained in two episodes, accompanied by MCM assets to further bring the storytelling to life. For example, episode one features McRae wearing the Plisse Skirt and Intarsia Knit Top, Mode Travia Leather Hobo, and Mode Travia Loafers in Brushed Calf Leather.
Object of desire
The Tempête bag by Delvaux gets the spotlight once again since it was launched in 1967. Recognisable for its architectural structure and contrasting metal hardware. The bag is seductive with a sculptural allure and is the subject of a new portfolio that deem the bag as obscure objet du desire rather than a traditional accessory. The Longchamp logo of the racehorse comes alive with a collection that celebrates
the excitement of a day at the races. At the heart of the collection, the sporty, casual-chic spirit of equestrianism is given a twist with warm, feminine materials. In 1948, when Jean Cassegrain founded his leather goods house, he decided to link his family name (which, in French, means to mill grain) to that of the Longchamp racecourse, the site of the oldest mill in Paris.
