A new look
Hugo Boss reopens the BOSS Store Mandarin Gallery on Orchard Road, which will be the first store in Singapore with the new BOSS store concept. The new visual identity uses warm and residential materials for wooden flooring, back wall cladding and furniture, paired with black high-gloss surfaces throughout the store, cleverly matched with white to perfectly balance the look and feel. The open facade design allows a direct view into the store and invites customers to experience the world of BOSS.

Fit for a queen
Bulgari presents the Jubilee Emerald Garden High Jewellery Tiara and Divas’ Dream High Jewellery Watch to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. As the first British monarch to achieve 70 years of reign, it is only fitting that Queen Elizabeth II gets the best such as this tiara which took more than 1,500 hours to complete. The design features a floral bouquet festooned with 63.44-carat Zambian emerald, carved with a blooming lotus flower. The piece is completely transformable as a headpiece or as a necklace.

Family values
Tod’s and Chiara Ferragni have collaborated on a project that highlights the ethical and aesthetic values: The sense of family and empathy. Ferragni and her family, mother Marina and sisters Valentina and Francesca, join together in Tod’s Generations which encapsulates the fundamental values of the Italian lifestyle done via a story that documents private moments, activities and meetings in the day-to-day life of two generations of women. The “Gommino” becomes the theme of the story, an element inseparably linked to the life of the characters, handed down from generation to generation.

Lighten up the mood
Foscarini presents Lumiere, a table lamp designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, combines a diffuser in blown glass with a metal tripod. Since its creation in 1990, Lumiere has gone through many reiterations such as colours, finishes, proportions and details. This latest Lumiere Nuances collection presents a new palette of colours for the glass coordinated with new finishes of the base. The colour passes from the diffuser to the tripod and wraps the entire lamp in three extremely timely hues, enhanced by the matte finish of the base. The collection comes in three different colours: Sahara (a warm colour that suggests desert sands), Cipria (a powder pink) and Creta (a grey- green tone). Available at Space Furniture.

Of many facets
Swarovski’s new campaign focuses on the multifaceted portrait of model Bella Hadid (left), which mirrors the many sides of a crystal. Conceived by creative director Giovanna Engelbert and photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the portraits capture the transformative and versatile nature of Swarovski Crystals through diverse expressions of style. It is a contemporary quality personified by Hadid whose transformative look serves as a muse for the campaign, embodying the multidimensional mindset of a fresh fashion mentality: A free and fluid approach to dressing that defies the codes of tradition.

Alexander McQueen shows off its 520 collection with a specially commissioned film and sequence of stills. Inspired by the brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 Women’s Ready-to- Wear collection, this capsule explores this season’s theme of ‘Storm Chasing’. Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen, says: “Storm chasing is not only about the beauty of the views but also a sense of mystery and excitement — about embracing the fact that we can’t ever be sure of what might happen next. To give up control and be directly in touch with the unpredictable is to be part of nature, to see and feel it at its most intense, to be at one with a world that is bigger and more powerful than we are.”
