Living a jet-set life
With travel back in style, Michael Kors launches the Spring 2022 collection with a focus on the jet-set life with a campaign featuring Bella Hadid. The new campaign is set against the captivating backdrop of St Barths, the celebrated playground of the international jet set, the images capture the models as they take on all the island has to offer.

The colour of crystals
Swarovski explores colours in new silhouettes that are found on watches, writing instruments, phone cases, headphone accessories, and more. We found the Lucent collection fascinating with its vibrancy of coloured crystal and how each different shade, each piece works to evoke a mood all on its own.

Be charmed
Jeux de Liens Harmony pendants from Maison Chaumet make us happy with its bright shades in malachite, lapis lazuli or turquoise. Pick a colour or all and make it your very own lucky charm. Each jewellery revisits the symbol of the circle in an asymmetrical spirit. These customizable pieces can be engraved to carry a personal message rich in meaning. Held with pavé diamond pendant rings, the malachite medallion is now available in a large model, while two new variations have been introduced: lapis lazuli for the medium model and turquoise for the small.

The sustainable choice for kids
H&M debuts a new collection for kids by Jakarta-based artist Martcellia Liunic whose illustrations are described as whimsical with doodle-like illustrations of creatures, plants, flowers and shapes, energetic colours and bold prints that exude playfulness. These are captured on t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, hoodies, shorts, skirts, dresses and joggers, plus hats, bags and socks. The collection is available for babies (online only) and kids all the way up to 14 years’ old. The entire collection is made using innovative and more sustainable print techniques that have a lower environmental impact. One of the chosen techniques is digital printing, which consumes less water, less energy and fewer chemicals than traditional printing. Each piece has also been crafted from at least 50% sustainably sourced materials.

An ode to nature
Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette is dedicated to the ocean with a combination scent of calming sea breeze and warm woody notes. Two ingredients at the heart of the formula, Haitian Vetiver and the Australian Sandalwood has also been responsibly sourced through Givaudan’s Sourcing4Good programme. In line with the brand’s values, Kenzo Parfums also champions sustainability causes and is proud to support Orin Hardy, Kenzo Homme’s new brand ambassador and the founder of Bamboo U Bali by offering scholarships to 10 students to study under the Bamboo U’s apprenticeship. The Bamboo U Project is a Bali-based initiative that seeks to train a new generation of designers, architects, and engineers to responsibly reconnect their expertise with nature, blending tradition and innovation, for a modern and sustainable vision of beauty.

Art to carry
German luxury brand Braun Büffel debuts a series of bags and small leather goods for spring/summer 2022. Each piece is inspired by Swiss-born, New York-based artist Ugo Rondinone, a mixed-media artist noted for his contemporary paintings and jaw-dropping installations. The collection explores the world of creative expression and the connection between rawness, disruptive devices and emotion. The collection holds a balanced array of products that champion blurred connections through its shape and design, from overlapping flaps with round edges, interlocking leather panels and solid handle backings.

Get ready
Tory Burch Spring Summer 2022 ready-to-wear pieces are a mix of retro and contemporary that are understated. Get ready to be dressed in voluminous skirts and sculpted shoulders, the tech-knit bandeau has emerged as an understated hero item. Taking cues from McCardell’s hourglass dresses, this slip-on accessory helps reimagine a look in a modern way. Wear it as a belt over a full-skirted broderie Anglaise dress for soft definition; wear it as a sleeveless top with pinstripe pants, and it creates a sleek, modern vibe for the evening.
