Montblanc pays tribute to Scottish author and poet Robert Louis Stevenson by introducing the prestigious Montblanc Writers Edition in his honour. Celebrated for his iconic works like Treasure Island and The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Stevenson’s brilliance was nurtured in his hometown of Edinburgh, Scotland, even as he battled a severe bronchial ailment throughout his life. The fountain pen’s cap boasts an enchanting pattern reminiscent of a treasure chest, while the pen’s black barrel ingeniously incorporates multiple “X”s, including a larger-scale one, alluding to the traditional mark for a hidden treasure’s location on a map.

Rooted in Montblanc’s heritage, these editions explore the vast universe of words woven by each author, with the design of every writing instrument artfully reimagining unforgettable tales.

Every urban rider’s go-to bicycle, Brompton celebrates the release of its one millionth bike this year with the recreation of its first-ever model released in 1975. The ravishing red bicycle from the UK has been going on a world tour to meet with its die-hard fans. It just left Singapore after a successful meet-and-greet and is now visiting Seoul and Japan.
As part of the celebration, Brompton Singapore is releasing the sale of special edition bikes in limited quantities. Dubbed the Brompton Archive Edition, these bikes are a special three-speed C Line Archive Edition designed around the original Mark 1 specifications and come in these unmistakable colours: Baby Pink (sold out), Arctic Blue, Apple Green — as well as two-tone Arctic Blue with Apple Green, exclusive to Asia Pacific.
The Archive Edition has a robust, handmade steel frame, three hub gears, dynamo lights powered by the rider’s movement, and a silver rear rack for carrying cargo. The model also features a Brooks C17 saddle. The bikes will be available for purchase at the Brompton Junction store in Funan Mall or its official dealers.
