The sky’s the limit
Claire Choisne, creative director at Maison Boucheron, creates a high jewellery collection that is inspired by the sky, clouds and the rainbow. There are 25 pieces in the collection with the focus on the necklace and a single earring, a betta fish with couture fins emerging from the heart of a sea of powdered opal. Crafted using the plique- à-jour technique, its couture fins let light in through the transparent material. This is then placed around a central opal, which can be transformed into a brooch or placed delicately in the hollow of the ear to create an asymmetrical, ultra-modern design that is in line with Maison Boucheron’s DNA.
In heaven
Van Cleef & Arpels lets us touch the galaxy through its Sous les étoiles: heavenly dreams collection of high jewellery. The 150 piece-collection saw designers, jewellers and expert gemologists immerse themselves in a multitude of representations of the cosmos, from works of popular science, like Camille Flammarion’s L’Astronomie populaire, published in 1880, to magnificent cosmic landscapes. The rich palette of colours is found in the deep blue of sapphires — magnified by a variety of cuts — alongside the sparkle of pyrite-flecked lapis lazuli and the intense green of emeralds.

Ex-Mrs Cruise, Katie Holmes, wore a mini gingham bodega midi dress in black while out and about in New York City, while actress Sophia Bush was spotted in Los Angeles wearing a Kate daisy textured seersucker shirtdress in black.
Upcycled vintage chic
What’s in for spring 2022? According to Salvatore Ferragamo, a lot of upcycled, overdyed, vintage scarf prints. Check out the biker jacket, skirt and sleeveless coat, semi-sheer dress in recycled jersey, marinière striped top and black silk knitted skirt. We love the bucket bag in birdcage construction that echoes Salvatore Ferragamo’s 1951 Kimo shoe design with interchangeable sleeves.
Mask it like a celeb
The KAZE Origins KN95/FFP2 mask is the choice of celebrities across the world. Rappers Cardi B and Offset wore KAZE on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, while Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber were spotted in paparazzi shots and on Instagram in KAZE masks. Supermodel Adriana Lima, musician Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, Jam Hsiao, Vanness Wu and Sammi Cheng have all been photographed wearing KAZE as well. No wonder, for the mask offers heavy-duty protection and is certified at respirator-class KN95/FFP2 standards. The shield comprises five layers of filters that maximise airflow while blocking out dust, germs, and particles.
