Multi-functional case

The Original Pilot Silver by Rimowa, which made its debut in 1994, is back, and along with it the myriad of functions that served pilots. The bag fits between the two pilot seats in a cockpit and for ease of use, it opens like a classic pilot case to provide easy access to materials inside. Of course, what fans identify with is the iconic aluminium exterior inspired by the early days of aviation. While it may have been made originally with pilots in mind, the updated version is used by DJs as a makeshift case to element-proof their records and equipment, and by business travellers who found convenience in storing both their files and travel essentials in one place. Inside, a padded compartment can either hold a laptop up to 16 inches (40.6 cm), or be removed in order to transform the business case into a versatile toolbox.
