Now hear this
Here’s a new way to listen — using a wireless neckband speaker, the SRS-NB10 by Sony. It has been ergonomically designed to rest on your shoulders, so you are able to take calls or listen to music in comfort. The speaker unit is angled upwards, so the sound is for your ears only. Passive radiators embedded at the back of the unit boost the bass to ensure the sound is well-balanced as it cuts through background noises. For better control, you can adjust the volume by touching the volume buttons on the side of the SRS-NB10 or play and pause when listening to music by touching the button directly on the neckband speaker.
Lucky colours
It’s not too late to get yourself suitably attired to visit family and friends this Lunar New Year with a special capsule collection by Alexander McQueen. Red, an auspicious colour in Chinese culture, is largely featured in the Curve and Curve mini bags, and the oversized sneaker set adorned with crystals. Small leather goods include quilted metallic leather purses with a signature skull closure in black, credit card holders, a black leather coin purse stamped with a red McQueen seal and metallic skull socks.
Rubies and lace
Chopard’s Precious Lace Collection is a contemporary jewellery collection that highlights the beauty of precious stones. Skilled craftsmen cleverly intertwine the designs with its scrolls, swirls and scalloped edges to look like a piece of intricate lace. This rhythmic, undulating gem-set gold volute is miniaturised through a stylised flower named “Mini-Froufrou”, with its scalloped borders and pear-shaped ruby petals on an airy openwork background. The motif is featured on a ring, earrings, pendant and bangle. These are personal jewellery for any occasion and for every woman. It embodies a different take on the art of wearing precious stones, midway between haute and fine jewellery, while also displaying a talent for blending elegance and casual that is an unmistakable Chopard signature.

The Courtside Large Tennis tote has a side compartment fit for a racquet, and the Doubles Tennis small crossbody bag completes the set with unique detailing, including a woven handle and a tennis racquet zipper pull.

Comfy clogs
This year, clogs make a huge comeback by way of Longchamp. They might look clunky but they are extremely comfortable as they come in smooth calfskin in colours complementing the authentic elegance of the ready-to-wear collection: two shades of tan (one light, one dark), vibrant red and timeless black. These are complemented by two velvet lambskin versions in red or green and a cream and black version in python-styled calfskin. Team these with floaty cotton dresses, crisp minis, short shorts or cropped pants, and you will soon be clip-clopping your way all over town.
Change for the better
The Open for a Change project by Maison Valentino launches with two iconic Valentino sneakers — Open and Rockstud Untitled. Created from a desire to explore innovative materials and techniques for the future, the latest footwear versions are made of recycled and bio-based materials. The materials partially make the uppers of both models and part of the Open’s sideband; the strings are completely made of recycled polyester, while the Valentino trademark studs on the Rockstud Untitled are made of recycled nylon.
