Singapore - BYD Singapore has announced an islandwide collaboration with leading charge point operators in Singapore, which includes Charge+, ComfortDelGro (SGX:C52
) ENGIE, Shell Singapore, SP Group and Volt Singapore.
The main objective is to allow BYD retail passenger vehicle owners in Singapore who register their cars in 2024 to enjoy discounted EV charging rates of up to 20 per cent through one of BYD Singapore's CPO (Charge Point Operator) list.
Mr. James Ng, Managing Director of BYD Singapore and Philippines (pictured above sixth from the left), says, "We are excited to collaborate with Charge+, ComfortDelGro ENGIE, Shell Singapore, SP Group, and Volt Singapore to offer discounted electric vehicle charging rates to new BYD retail passenger vehicle owners. These partnerships reflect our dedication to providing an exceptional ownership experience while advancing the adoption of electric vehicles in Singapore. Moreover, we aspire for this initiative to enable electric vehicle owners to fully appreciate the advantages of lower running costs while transitioning seamlessly into the “EV” lifestyle."
