Berluti finds a new home in Melbourne, Australia
Have you ever been in a critical situation in which the airline lost your luggage, or perhaps you forgot to pack a particular item of clothing for that all-important business dinner? Well, if you are in Melbourne, you can easily hop into the Berluti boutique to stock up on what you need. The Parisian company has just opened its first flagship boutique in Australia.
The location of the boutique on Collins Street could not be more apt, as Berluti was founded in 1895, and the tree-lined thoroughfare is steeped in history, with Victorian architecture present everywhere, even on the facade of the 92 sq m boutique.
Step inside and you will be greeted by custommade stone fixtures for the tables and counters that are matched with the pale wood flooring. Berluti’s
signature leather patinas are found on wall panels throughout the store, adding an old world charm to the place.
The boutique in Melbourne is located at Suite G01, 175-177 Collins Street.
Travel in style
One of US basketball’s biggest stars, Russell Westbrook, the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard and 2017 NBA most valuable player, has a sense of style that TUMI saw and liked. Thus, the global travel and lifestyle brand invited Westbrook to join forces with it. Westbrook helped design a six-piece collection for Tumi based on his travel experiences. The collection features TUMI’s ballistic nylon and is highlighted by a tonal red camouflage pattern and black leather accents.
The new black
We welcome the new ceramic-clad version of Laureato by Girard-Perregaux — a timepiece that has been described as a chic sports watch. The 42mm version is draped in black ceramic. The dial features the Clous de Paris, or tiny embossed square knobs, and on it are baton-type hands coated with luminescent material. The timepiece is water-resistant to 100m and available exclusively at The Hour Glass.

Vintage Renault sport
The BR126 Renault Sport 40th Anniversary, unveiled in conjunction with the Japanese Grand Prix on Oct 8, is inspired by the French automotive company’s first-ever single seater from 1977, the R.S.01.
This newest timepiece by Bell & Ross, the official watchmaking partner of the Renault Sport Formula One team, is limited to 170 pieces worldwide — a figure that represents the number of Renault’s victories in Formula One.
The vintage model’s 41mm case is made of satin-finish steel while its black-and-yellow dial carries the Renault team’s colours. It is available at Bell & Ross boutiques and selected authorised watch retailers.
