The House of Dior’s spring/summer 2018 haute couture collection is a beautiful combination of high fashion and the history of modern art. Maria Grazia Chiuri, the artistic director of the maison’s women’s collections, has come up with a dream collection where there are no limits to pushing boundaries and experimenting with technique, material and form.
Beautiful blossoms
Over at the house of Chanel, its spring/summer haute couture collection blooms with pretty posies. Models walked the runway wearing floral hairpieces and tulle veils, matched with footwear such as booties in tweed, leather or embroidered tulle, with transparent heels. Clothes were delicately stitched with layers and layers of silk tulle, chiffon and organza, pleated or emblazoned with floral embroidery.
