The Hermès men’s winter 2024 collection runway show features a rich palette, including shades like khaki, basalt, charcoal, anise, petroleum blue, heather, pumpkin, crocus, silex, brown, peat, and black.

This carefully chosen colour scheme aligns seamlessly with the overarching theme of Paradox, emphasising the diverse and intricate nature of paradoxes present in language, logic and reality.

In fashion, Hermès reimagines clothing construction by playing with shapes, counter-shapes, cuts and cut-outs, along with distinctive graphic signatures. The clothing exhibits sharp and generous volumes, with short pea coats and jackets.

Parkas are crafted from calfskin, double-breasted coats and neo-racing jerseys showcase polished calfskin.

The collection features a variety of Prince of Wales check suits, providing both style and warmth with double collars and tube scarves.

Neo-racing jerseys, reminiscent of hoodies, introduce a contemporary touch. Additional details include sliding pockets, maxi-chevron patterns, and an anamorphic (the distorted or altered representation of an object) interpretation of a horse’s coat.

Buttoned cardigans with a zipped high collar in cashmere and playful stitching are part of the collection. Argyle V-neck pullovers in cashmere with lambskin patches, as well as pullovers with zipped high collars and sleeveless crayoned argyle V-neck pullovers in cashmere, add diversity. Neo-racing jerseys and turtleneck pullovers made from wool and unframed silk contribute to the collection’s texture and style.

Overshirts with high collars in compact cotton poplin, bearing a saddler imprint, and zipped blouson-shirts in compact cotton poplin with removable hoods in gum canvas, offer versatility. Large shirts or blouson-shirts in spinnaker or cotton poplin, featuring straddling pockets, make a statement. Large shirts with high collars in cotton poplin exhibit playful stripes or double collars in compact cotton poplin. Silk twill shirts with surprise pleats and high-collar silk twill shirts with pleats and mini pyramid studs add an extra layer of sophistication.

Trousers get narrower in various materials such as calfskin, wool and cotton gabardine, water-repellent cotton drill, wool flannel and wool and mohair canvas inlaid with satin. Wide trousers with pleats are available in calfskin, wool and cotton gabardine, and cashmere flannel.
