A quacking good time

SINGAPORE (Oct 29): Asian family gatherings for breakfast or tea always end up with everyone digging into some dim sum and sipping on warm tea. Keeping up to this delicious tradition, but with an extra twist to the dishes, Kai Duck will be serving up creative, yet affordable dim sum dishes.

Kai Duck is a new restaurant by Kai Garden that just opened at Ngee Ann City. With the aim of catching the attention of millennials, the restaurant has introduced some new and interesting duck dishes.

The restaurant will offer a refreshing take on dishes created from the eponymous Cantonese-style Peking duck. Some of the signature dishes include the Sliced Peking Duck with Crackers ($4.80), Mini Burger with Peking Duck Salad ($4.80), Crispy Bun with Sliced Peking Duck (main image) ($9.80) and the Peking Duck Salad Hand Roll ($4.80). All four dishes offer the familiar fragrant and crunchy Peking Duck skin, but each with its own special twist.
