The recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas saw the year’s tech gadgets being displayed. Here are five that impressed us.
1. LG HU80K
LG’s new 4K ultra high-definition home projector can project a 150in screen. At 2,500 lumens, this is LG’s brightest projector so far. It also has a smart TV interface to access popular online streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
2. Dell XPS 15 2-in-1
Dell has launched the new XPS 15 2-in-1, whose slim frame packs a punch. The laptop features a touchscreen and an innovative maglev keyboard, which uses magnets to provide feedback when typing.
3. Samsung ‘The Wall’ modular TV
Samsung’s new 146in modular TV, The Wall, has MicroLED TV panels. The panels feature a bezel-less design that allows individual modules to fit together seamlessly, removing the limitations of screen size.
4. Sennheiser CX 6.00BT
Sennheiser’s new Bluetooth in-ear headphones deliver uncompromising audio quality with an enhanced bass response. The headphones feature a multi-connection capability, allowing users to pair to two devices simultaneously, and supports three-way calling.
5. DJI Osmo Mobile 2
DJI’s new smartphone camera stabiliser lets you take smooth videos with cinematic movements easily. The integrated controls allow you to control settings such as ISO and shutter speed, while a new zoom slider allows you to produce a dolly zoom, an effect usually seen in films.
