Beautiful surfaces

Cosentino introduces C·Bath with The Bathelier collection, showcasing sustainable surfaces and custom fittings for its new bathroom platform. To kick off the collection, the Spanish surface specialist has partnered five design luminaries to reimagine the future bathroom using its key collections such as Silestone, Dekton and Sensa by Cosentino.

From Singapore, we have local architect Colin Seah, who devised two striking visions: The Collage and The Cave. The latter comes to life in a dramatic bathroom with a view articulated with three Dekton colours: Bromo, Laurent and Awake, Silestone Coral Clay and Sienna Ridge. The former balances contrasting colours to create a unique moment of holistic harmony with Dekton Soke and Laurent, Silestone Eternal Serena and Ethereal Noctis.

Seah is joined by a cohort of award-winning creatives comprising Dutch designer Remy Meijers, American interior designer Claudia Afshar, Argentinian architect Daniel Germani, and Spanish multidisciplinary studio MUT Design in presenting 10 concepts that take bathroom design to another level.

Architectural inspirations

If you’re looking for a coffee table book on architecture, pick up a copy of Steve Leung: Design Asia and Beyond. Published in commemoration of Steve Leung Design Group (SLD)’s 25th anniversary and Leung’s 65th birthday, the monograph chronicles Leung’s design milestones and investigates his aspirations as a designer, entrepreneur, leader and philanthropist in the industry, as well as the rise of one of Asia’s most accomplished design practices.

Structured into seven chapters, the book includes interviews with Leung and influential leaders in the field, inviting readers to better understand SLD’s influence within the industry. The book also touches upon a time of incredible growth for Hong Kong and Asia, exploring the connection between Leung’s success and the rise of the design industry in this part of the world.

"What I’m presenting for Emerge@FIND would be my KAIA Collection. I’ve always been interested in how raw texture in nature comes to life and I wanted to create that in my pieces" — Chini Lichangco of Chini Studio from the Philippines

"Working with skilled craftsmen means being able to witness my designs come to life through their hands rather than just on paper. It was a pleasure to exchange know-how, and this has been a true collaboration" — Teerapoj Teeropas from Thailand
