MINI Asia has introduced the MINI 1965 Victory Edition to Singapore, a modern tribute to the brand's historic triumph at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally
Driven by Timo Mäkinen and Paul Easter, that victory cemented the Mini Cooper S as a motorsport icon, a legacy now revived through this special edition.
“Winning in Monte Carlo in 1965 wasn’t just a victory, it was also a milestone that shaped MINI’s identity,” said Daren Ching, head of MINI Asia. “The MINI 1965 Victory Edition brings together the heart and soul of that moment with a modern drive packed with loads of fun. It’s a powerful reminder of the passion that defines MINI and every detail points to the courage and craftsmanship that make the brand truly unique.”

The vehicle arrives in a signature Chili Red paintwork, accented by a white racing stripe running from the bonnet to the rear. Notable exterior touches include a white "52" graphic on the sides – a reference to the original car’s racing number – and a subtle "1965" sticker on the C-pillar
A Glazed White panoramic roof provides a clean contrast to the bold body color, while 18-inch alloy wheels ensure the car maintains its planted stance

Inside, the "1965" theme continues on the door sills, the steering wheel spoke, and the center console, while each model features a dedication to the rally success on the inner door panel
Drivers can choose between two performance-oriented variants: the petrol-powered MINI John Cooper Works and the all-electric MINI John Cooper Works Electric.
The internal combustion model produces 231hp and 380Nm, reaching 100km/h in 6.1secs. The electric version offers a higher output of 258hp (190kW), a 5.9secs sprint to 100km/h, and a battery range of up to 371km
Available at MINI Habitat on Leng Kee Road, the petrol JCW is priced at $313,888, while the electric version retails for $287,888
Even the key cap bears the 1965 racing number, ensuring owners carry a piece of history with them daily.
