Setting sail at Marina Bay
Miss Fitz and Roxy
Evolving from its previous all-day casual dining selections, Miss Fitz now offers a dinner menu with a variety of contemporary sharing plates.
The Marina Bay restaurant and bar has introduced a selection of new Mediterranean dishes made with fresh herbs and produce, letting the ingredients shine through in every bite. Prices range from $14 to $22 for small plates and between $23 and $34 for medium plates.
Highlights include the Charred Octopus with sambal matah ($19) and the New Zealand mussels with charred sourdough ($28).
For larger groups, the Wagyu Tomahawk ($160, serves four) offers a 1kg to 1.3kg steak served with jus, butter sauteed greens and potato fondant. Meanwhile, the Whole Fish ($70, serves 2) comes with salsa verde, fries and butterhead lettuce.
Miss Fitz also offers a business set lunch on weekdays: Choose from two courses or three courses ($25, $28) and select from a daily selection of entrees, mains and desserts from the dinner menu.
From the restaurant, a side entrance leads diners to Roxy, a new 20-seat cocktail bar inspired by the backrooms and rock and roll nightclubs of the Manhattan Lower East Side in the 1970s.
The cocktail menu spans three distinct categories: Signature cocktails ($22 to $25), classic cocktail flights ($45 to $55) and boilermakers ($24 to $28), or a beer and shot combo.
Roxy is led by head bartender Tash Nayar, previously from Miss Fitz, who brings 10 years of industry experience to his second concept launch as head bartender.

The Hour Glass
In 1969, the late Dr George Daniels signed his first pocket watch. Daniels’ proposed alternative to the electronic watch was an approach that showcased both a watchmaker’s time at the bench and veritable hand craftsmanship.
The Persistence of Memory is an online exhibition that surveys the last 50 years of artisanal watchmaking. The plot begins in 1970 with the genre-defining work of two close friends: Dr George Daniels and Derek Pratt; their legacy continued by the likes of François-Paul Journe, Philippe Dufour, Kari Voutilainen and Denis Flageollet and ending this decade past with contributions from the current generation of watchmakers like Roger Smith, Felix Baumgartner and Rexhep Rexhepi.
Presented by The Hour Glass, The Persistence of Memory is a repository of the contemporary independent watchmaking movement, documenting its timeline and archiving its most important watches.
