A custodian of our national food culture, Rempapa’s chef Damian D’Silva collaborated with MasterChef Singapore season two contestant Vasunthara Ramasamy (Vasun) in a four-hand luncheon on Aug 13. The Rempapa and Vasun South Indian set lunch ($68++ per person, for a minimum of 4 diners) draws our attention to delicious variations of thosai (a thin batter-based dish originating from South India made from a fermented batter consisting of lentils and rice). Served communal style, the menu consists of a sublime sharing spread of thosai, chutneys and sides.
