On top of that, Dover Park Hospice will be moving to the Integrated Care Hub in 2021, where inpatient capacity will be increased from 50 to 100 beds.
With such ambitious expansion plans, there is a need for funds to subsidise the cost that has been estimated at $1.3 million. So dig deep and make it a fun night with friends.
The theme of this year’s ball is Jam, Jive, Jazz and be treated to the soulful voice of local singer Jacintha Abisheganaden and listen to Chairman of Eu Yan Sang International Ltd (EYSI), Richard Eu as he entertains with some cool jazz tunes on the saxophone.
Abisheganaden is no stranger to the entertainment scene as she has played the lead in local musicals such as Beauty World, Fried Rice Paradise and many more. She has also performed at major events such as the 117th Olympic Meeting in Singapore and Singapore National Day Parades.
Having lived in the UK during the 1960’s, Richard is a fan of jazz, blues, rock ‘n roll and classic rock music. He performed in a rock band whilst at university in London and continues to play with his band, The Cat Mountain Kings, at pubs and other events.
Other highlights of the gala include performances by DPH’s very own GEMS Showchoir and swing dance performance.
