The rich history of Blancpain’s women’s watches began with Betty Fiechter, whose spirit is intertwined with the history of Blancpain. In the early 1930s, she etched her name in history as the pioneering woman at the helm of a watch maison. Fiechter, the wife of Blancpain’s then-owner, became the first woman to lead a watchmaking company when she took over Blancpain in the early 1930s. Her leadership played a crucial role in guiding the company through challenging times.
