This year’s unveiling of a new collection continues this tradition by introducing the Hermès Cut for Women. The collection embraces a language of geometric shapes and colours that exude sophistication, an arena where Hermès excels. During the recent Singapore media preview of this collection, one standout feature caught our attention: The positioning of the crown at half past one, which is adorned with a lacquered or engraved H. This thoughtful design detail offers practical benefits for wearers who spend long hours typing on a computer keyboard, as the crown does not dig into the crease of the wrist.
Beyond its ergonomic design, the timepiece boasts alluring aesthetics, such as the interplay of light that creates shimmering effects. The bevel-cut bezel frames a generously sized dial with a curved edge or, as described, a circle within a round shape.
The balanced proportions of the satin-brushed and polished case offer a satisfying tactile experience, further elevating the watch’s overall appeal. Luminescent-applied Arabic numerals decorate the dial, enhancing readability, while the unique embossed font adds a touch of character without sacrificing the simplicity of its design.

The watch is powered by the Manufacture Hermès H1912 movement, a mechanical self-winding calibre, a movement that orchestrates the display of hours, minutes and seconds.
All these can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. The hands, polished and partly open-worked, add a touch of elegance with their baton-shaped design. Enhanced with luminescent properties, the hands glide over the silver-toned dial adorned with a grey- and orange-accented minutes track.
With either metal or rubber straps, each presents its distinct style. For instance, the metal bracelet blends flexible links with a smooth, rounded profile, echoing the case’s design. Meanwhile, the rubber strap provides a charming selection of vibrant options in eight colours inspired by the Hermès palette: White, orange, pearl grey, tin grey, wisteria, cricket green, denim blue and scarlet.
