On the 62nd floor of HighHouse, we admired the sunset as it set over the Singapore skyline, gradually giving way to a starlit night sky. Against this mesmerising backdrop, our attention shifted from celestial stars to the stars of time showcased within glass display cases.

The evening of May 17 marked a memorable occasion for the 102 invited guests who had an exclusive opportunity to intimately explore the TUDOR watches launched at the prestigious Watches and Wonders event held in Geneva this year. This event was graciously hosted by Kee Hing Hung, an authorised retailer for TUDOR.

Commencing the evening, Tron How represented Kee Hing Hung to deliver a welcoming address, expressing gratitude and enthusiasm in presenting the exquisite new watches from TUDOR. Reflecting on the legacy of the family-run business, Tron remarked: “Kee Hing Hung has made significant strides, thanks to the unwavering support of our esteemed customers.”

Adding a playful touch, a replica of a watchmaker’s workbench provided a delightful photo opportunity for attendees harbouring dreams of watchmaking while they discovered more about the TUDOR’s Manufacture Calibres.

The interactive setup paid homage to TUDOR’s new watch Manufacture in Le Locle, Switzerland. Completed in 2021 after three years of construction, this state-of-the-art facility brings together the know-how of watchmakers with the best in production management and automated testing systems.

The TUDOR Pro Cycling Team, sees the debut of a new Pelagos FXD model infused with cycling-inspired elements aimed at merging lightweight construction with optimal functionality.

Recognizing the unparalleled performance of carbon fibre in crafting high-speed bicycles, TUDOR deliberately selected carbon composite for the case of this innovative chronograph dedicated to fearless riders. Titanium components further enhance the watch's durability, ensuring its resilience against the unpredictable conditions encountered in cycling.

Beyond durability, the design of this timepiece prioritizes practicality for riders during their cycling endeavours. While traditional chronographs typically calibrate their tachymetric scales based on automotive speeds, this "Cycling Edition" chronograph presents a unique adaptation. The spiral arrangement of the chronograph scale around the dial allows cyclists to effortlessly gauge their average speeds at a glance, reflecting a scale tailored specifically for cycling on the Pelagos FXD Chrono "Cycling Edition."

Black Bay 58 GMT

The Black Bay line introduces a coveted new model, a mid-size GMT Manufacture Calibre featuring hues of burgundy, black, and gilt on the bezel. Renowned for its universally appealing case design, the Black Bay 58 now boasts a GMT version.

Named after the year when TUDOR introduced its first 200-meter waterproof divers' watch, the Black Bay 58 pays homage to the historic reference 7924, known as the "Big Crown". Retaining the aesthetic charm of its predecessor, this model features a 39mm diameter case, a nod to the classic proportions of the 1950s.

Ideal for travellers, the Black Bay 58 GMT combines practicality with mid-century sophistication. The burgundy and black bezel adorned with a gilt 24-hour scale maintains the iconic Black Bay design language.

In homage to an era of pioneering TUDOR divers' watches and jet-setting across time zones, the watch incorporates gilt finishing details on the hour markers, hands, and bicolour bezel. The instantly recognizable TUDOR rose logo embellishes the winding crown, a beloved feature cherished by fans of the Black Bay 58 GMT.

Black Bay

The initial release of the Black Bay made its debut in 2012, was enhanced with the Manufacture Calibre upgrade in 2016. The current iteration has undergone its third transformation, solidifying the visual and technical progression of the collection.

This fresh look, accompanying the third-generation Black Bay features a burgundy bezel with a sleek monochromatic appearance. The watch boasts an elegant black dial adorned with applied rhodium-plated hour markers and hands, embodying a contemporary aesthetic.

Named Black Bay, this emblematic design in the TUDOR collection solidifies TUDOR's expert command of one of the industry's most demanding standards in terms of chronometry and resistance to magnetic fields. Tested by the Federal Institute of Metrology or METAS, the Black Bay brings together cutting- edge watchmaking technology with design elements inspired by TUDOR’s nearly seven- decade heritage of making robust professional diving watches.

Appropriately named the Black Bay, this iconic design within the TUDOR collection exemplifies the brand's mastery of precision chronometry and magnetic resistance. The Black Bay merges advanced horology with design cues that pay homage to TUDOR's enduring legacy of crafting durable professional diving timepieces for over seven decades.

Clair de Rose

The elegant and beautiful Clair de Rose returns with its signature blue dials. Exclusively available in stainless steel with mechanical movements, these new variations are offered in three sizes: 26mm, 30mm, and 34mm, each presenting two distinct designs.

The Clair de Rose epitomizes TUDOR's classic heritage, evoking a romantic imagery of "moonlight" in French (clair de lune) and incorporating the brand's historical rose logo, blending these elements in a whimsical manner.

The design of this feminine watch traces back to the art-deco era of the early ’30s when TUDOR was renowned for creating intricate and innovative jewellery watches with meticulous details, from decorative case engravings to dial embellishments and precious bracelets.

A contemporary interpretation of this heritage, the Clair de Rose collection embodies a style that is both delicate and bold, drawing inspiration from lines with evocative names like Princess, Glamour, or Miss TUDOR.

One of the most distinctive elements of the Clair de Rose collection is borrowed from the latter—the winding crown adorned with a precious spinel cabochon. Another notable feature is the stainless steel 5-link bracelet, sometimes referred to as the “beads of rice” bracelet.

Remaining faithful to its classic, sophisticated, and enduring essence, the watch retains the brand's traditional design elements while preserving the graceful contours of its mid-case and the iconic winding crown embellished with a blue spinel cabochon.

The timepiece showcases opaline and the new "TUDOR Blue" dials intricately adorned with raised decorations, enhanced by Roman numerals or diamonds. Housed within is a self-winding movement with a date function, encased in stainless steel.
