As more people are vaccinated and borders reopen, those plagued by wanderlust can start packing their bags to travel to new destinations for incredible adventures. As frequent flyers never leave home without the appropriate wrist candy, here are a few of the latest timepieces ideal for juggling different time zones

Inspired by a prototype created for explorer and alpine climber Cory Richards to accompany him on his latest ascent of the world’s highest mountain, the Overseas dual time “Everest” by Vacheron Constantin is limited to just 150 pieces. Made from titanium and stainless steel, this 41mm watch has a grey-blue grained dial with orange ac- cents. It is available with a matching Cor- dura fabric strap that is interchangeable with a sturdier version in grey rubber. Ideal for experienced explorers, this timpiece is also water-resistant to 150m.

An aesthetic masterpiece, the Globetrotter Steel Blue by Arnold & Son has a lacquered, brushed sunburst and tonal blue dial with a central dome of the earth, which is hand-painted and coated with mother-of-pearl powder for land and Super-Lumi- Nova for the shores. A limited edition of 88 pieces, it houses the Calibre A&S 6022 worldtimer and comes with a hand-stitched alligator strap.

The new Bvlgari Octo Roma is the ideal companion for frequent flyers. This worldtimer is powered by an in-house manufacture movement, its blue sunburst dial adorned with applied brushed rhodium-plated gold hour-markers that ensure maximum legibility of all 24 time zones and a 24-hour indicator. Its 41mm stainless steel octagonal case is attached to a unique integrated bracelet with a triple-blade folding clasp.

Evoking strong masculine energy, the BR 05 GMT is a tool watch that embodies a contemporary sense of style for the urban explorer. Meant for those who are constantly on the move, this Bell & Ross creation has a square steel case connected to an integrated bracelet in satin-finished and polished steel. Behind the black sunray dial is the calibre BR-CAL.325 automatic, which powers the hour, minutes, central seconds, a second 24-hour time zone and date.

Taking inspirational cues from professional Minerva watches of the 1920s and 1930s, as well as the modern desire to explore nature, the Montblanc 1858 Geosphere UltraBlack is dedicated to an iconic adventure — the world’s Seven Summit mountaineering challenge. Inside its 42mm distressed stainless steel case is the MB 29.25 calibre, which powers the two domed globes surrounded by a scale with 24 time zones, making reading the time anywhere simply effortless.

Featuring the new in-house automatic movement from Panerai Laboratorio di Idee — the P.4100 calibre — the Luminor Perpetual Calendar Goldtech does not need a tool or corrector to make adjustments. Instead, with just the crown, one can make changes to the day, date, month and year. This 44mm timepiece features a brushed Panerai Goldtech case and blue sun-brushed dial with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers to tell the passing of day, date and time, wherever you are in the world.
