HONG KONG (May 24): Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks fell in the opening minutes of trade Tuesday, tracking overnight losses in US markets amid fears of a possible hike in interest rates.

HONG KONG (May 19):  Hong Kong stocks ended the session lower Thursday in line with a regional sell-off as investors weighed news that a US interest rate hike was more likely than the markets thought, as Shanghai closed flat.

HONG KONG (May 13): Hong Kong stocks sank almost 1% by the break Friday following a negative lead from Wall Street and Europe, while Shanghai was marginally higher ahead of the release of key Chinese economic data at the weekend.
