SINGAPORE (March 23): Morningstar says that investors “should not be concerned” about upcoming portfolio manager appointments recently announced by Templeton Emerging Markets Group, the global emerging markets (EM) investment trust.

To recap, the group intends to initiate a series of portfolio manager appointments starting next month as part of its ongoing evolution, with the first round effective April 3 and the second coming into effect from May 31.

The group’s executive chairman Joseph Mark Mobius, one of the most prominent faces of Templeton in emerging markets, will have his name removed from 12 of the firm strategies.
