Manulife US REIT to be included in small cap index

SINGAPORE (Nov 23): Manulife US Real Estate Investment Trust will be included in the MSCI Singapore Small Cap Index with effect from Nov 30, after the close of market trading.

The inclusion follows the results of MSCI’s November 2016 Semi-Annual Index Review, which were announced on Nov 14.

The MSCI Singapore Small Cap Index measures the performance of the small cap segment of the Singapore market and had 67 constituents at end Oct. The index currently represents 14% of the free float-adjusted market capitalisation of the Singapore equity universe.
