SINGAPORE (June 25): Low-cost carrier Scoot announced Tuesday that it will be flying to five new destinations, including Honolulu, Hawaii, by the end of June 2018. This will mark Scoot’s maiden flight to the US.

“We saw Hawaii as a wonderful opportunity. There’s a big gap in the marketplace,” says Scoot CEO Lee Lik Hsin at a media conference today to mark the official merging of Singapore Airlines subsidiaries Tigerair and Scoot.
