SINGAPORE (Feb 10): Banyan Tree Holdings is said to be considering redrawing its existing and already-approved plans to build a twin-tower serviced apartment and residential development, Cassia Northpoint, on its Surfers Paradise site in Gold Coast, Australia.

According to an article published yesterday by The Australian, the international property developer is reviewing “all options” for the site. These include a joint venture (JV), sale, or conversion to a hotel.  

In January, the group announced the establishment of a JV for its China developments with China Vanke Co, which is buying a 5% stake in the company.
