Secura Group announced that its wholly-owned company Soverus has entered into a 24-month contract with Sembcorp Industries to provide unarmed security services. The contract of approximately $3 million is effective from Aug 1 to July 31, 2024.
Including this contract, the group’s order book value stands at $56.8 million for contracts from security guarding, of which approximately $21.8 million is expected to be fulfilled by the end of this year and the remainder by August 2026.
This contract is not expected to have any significant impact on the FY2022 ended December results.
Shares in Secura closed at 6.8 cents on May 19.
