Cryptocurrency investments are often viewed as high-risk. Prices of some of the biggest cryptocurrencies can swing as much as 30% in the span of a few hours, and there are always associated risks such as regulatory changes.
John Ng Pangilinan, whose family wealth is built on bricks and mortar, has chosen a different route. The grandson of the late property tycoon Ng Teng Fong is the founder of Signum Capital, a fund which invests in pre-sale tokens and equities of blockchain-related companies.
Ng Pangilinan is a big believer and endorser of blockchain technology, and clearly thinks the volatility is worth the risk. To prove his point, he set up Signum Capital in 2017.
