This lower revenue for the third quarter of the year was mainly due to lower service fee for bus resulting from loss of Jurong West package from September 2024 coupled with lower fuel indexation, partially offset by higher rail fare revenue. This is also the same reason revenue declined for the 9MFY2025.
SBS Transit has reported a profit after tax of $14.45 million for the 3QFY2025 ended Sept 30, down 20.6% y-o-y. For the 9MFY2025, profit after tax declined 12.3% y-o-y to $51.91 million.
For the 3QFY2025, revenue declined 2.4% y-o-y to $386.45 million, and for 9MFY2025, revenue declined 3.8% y-o-y to $1,132.3 million.
