SINGAPORE (March 13): China Star Food Group has been granted an operating licence from the food and drug supervision & administration bureau for its new manufacturing plant in Liancheng county, Fujian province, where it is based.

The manufacturing plant occupies 13,910 sqm plot of land in the Food Processing Zone of Liancheng Industrial Park with a lease of 50 years.

Built at an investment cost of RMB100 million ($20.5 million), the new plant has a production capacity of 30,000 tonnes and exceeds the combined capacity of the group’s two factories.
