SINGAPORE (Aug 16): Creative Technology is showing no letup in hauling other tech companies to court and making them pay for contract breaches and patent infringement.

In the latest win on Wednesday, Creative announced the Singapore Court held China tech giant Huawei International liable of misinterpretation, being grossly negligent and for breach of contract.

Huawei has been ordered to pay Creative and subsidiary QMax Communications about US$9.3 million ($12.7 million) and US$15.6 million with interest, which brings the total sum to about $36 million.
