SBS Transit has signed separate technology agreements with Nutanix and Univers as it moves to modernise its IT operations and improve energy efficiency.

Under the memorandum of understanding with Nutanix, SBS Transit will deploy Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP) to modernise its IT infrastructure with a unified private or hybrid cloud system. Doing so will centralise data management, enhance scalability, and provide high system availability for transport operations.

The platform will also enable real-time data collection and analytics to support fleet management, route optimisation and passenger-flow monitoring.
