Singapore’s Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) has expanded a strategic technology partnership with Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel), focused on artificial intelligence (AI), secure communications and cybersecurity for public safety operations.

The new five-year agreement deepens collaboration between HTX and Singtel Singapore and Singtel Digital InfraCo, supporting digital infrastructure for frontline and mission-critical systems used across the Home Team. The partnership will enhance network resilience, performance and security as operational demands grow more complex.

The partnership builds on earlier initiatives between the two organisations, including the deployment of network slicing technology that gives Home Team officers priority access during major operations and large-scale public events, when commercial mobile networks are most congested.
