SINGAPORE (Aug 17): GCCP Resources has announced new contract wins worth over RM16 million ($5 million) in total for the supply of crushed calcium carbonate stones, bringing the aggregate value of the group’s contract wins to-date to over RM31 million.

In a Thursday news release, the Malaysia-based producer of crushed calcium carbonate does not name the source of its new contracts, but describes its unnamed customer as a “leading global player” as well as “an established multinational company with over 120 years of track record in the calcium carbonate business.

Under the supply contracts, which will run up to the end of 2017, GCCP will provide crushed stones of ground calcium carbonate (GCC) grade to the customer’s Malaysian subsidiary and one of its entities in Indonesia.
