SINGAPORE (July 14): Carnival Corporation (CCL), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Genting Hong Kong (Genting HK), is in the process of disposing of its entire 5.7% stake in Star Entertainment for about a total of A$273.7 million ($291 million).

Star Entertainment is a gaming and entertainment group listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

The transaction will take place in two parts, the first having already been completed over the course of July 2016 and May 2017, when CCL disposed a total of 6.6 million shares in Star Entertainment through a series of on-market disposals for a consideration of A$38.5 million.
