SINGAPORE (Aug 16): Del Monte Pacific Limited, the consumer food & beverage focused group, has appointed Gregory N Longstreet as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of its US subsidiary, Del Monte Foods (DMFI), with effect from Sept 5.

In a Wednesday filing, the group says Longstreet will be responsible for DMFI’s strategy, business and the overall organisation in his role as CEO.

Longstreet has 25 years of work experience in the food industry and previously held critical commercial roles with sales, marketing and general management functions, including as president and CEO.
