SINGAPORE (Oct 25): The Singapore Exchange issued Hong Leong Asia with an unusual trading activity query at 12.49pm.

To be sure, shares in Hong Leong Asia have been on a tear since Friday, rising more than 20% from 95 cents on Friday to an intraday high of $1.17 on Wednesday.

This followed the release of research report by CIMB initiating coverage of US-listed China Yuchai International with an “add” call and target price of US$30.53 ($41.54).
